The firm was set up by Matthew Dillon, an experienced solicitor who during his nine years as Legal Counsel to publicly quoted companies provided valued advice on an array of complex and high value legal and commercial matters.   As an in-house lawyer Matthew was both a supplier and purchaser of legal advice and utilised his vast experience to set up a practice designed to replicate the best of what he had seen.

Matthew acquired a reputation for pragmatic, straight talking and results driven representation, values that MJD Solicitors holds today.
